We are encouraging our First Citizens employees and customers to have some fun with the mini Benny and Nickelette plushes by taking photos of them doing fun activities in their communities or somewhere around the world!
Benny and Nickelette are the mascots for our Power Saver Club, exclusively for kids ages 14 and under. Benny is named after one of the Founding Fathers of the United States and the man on the $100 bill, Benjamin Franklin. Benny likes science, inventing things, and reading. He is always trying new and fun things and looks for ways to help out in the community. Nickelette likes to say she is named after her favorite coin, the nickel. Nickelette is a thinker and planner. She encourages all kids to be POWER SAVERS like her and Benny!
Do you have a child, grandchild, niece or nephew under the age of 14? From now until May 31st, if you (an adult over the age of 18) open a Power Saver account with as little as $5, we will make it $20!* Contact us or stop into any bank location for more information and details. Upon account opening, each new Power Saver member will receive a Benny and a Nickelette plush.**
Where will Benny and Nickelette end up next? Take a look at our Facebook page to find out. Better yet, join in the fun by posting photos to our Facebook page using #PowerSaverAdventures to share your adventures with Benny and Nickelette.
