As we approach the time in November for annual feasts and giving thanks, it’s only fitting that we pause and reflect on the goodness of gratitude. Gratitude is the heart of being happy, and we could all use a mighty big helping of happiness!

An attitude of gratitude provides a lifeline to carry us through the darkest moments and uncertainties of life. (We certainly have had our share of those this year with all of the incredible challenges brought on by the pandemic!) Giving thanks allows our heart, perspective, and attitude to change for the better.

As you reflect on the blessings in your life, kindly consider cultivating gratitude by helping those in your community that are in need of food. First Citizens is having a Bank-Wide “Giving Thanks” Food Drive from November 16 – 25. Please bring your food donations to the First Citizens Location nearest you. For your convenience, we are also offering “Drive & Drop” for your donations from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm in our parking lots on Thursday, November 19, and Tuesday, November 24.
