After several months of construction, and certainly much anticipation, the remodel at the Charles City First Citizens Bank is complete! Now it's time for some fun! A Remodel Open House will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. The staff will be serving ice cream sundaes until gone.
Fun fact about the First Citizens Bank in Charles City:
The bank received its charter January 9, 1892, and originally opened at 208 Main Street with three employees and $50,000 in capital stock. In 1973, O. Jay Tomson purchased controlling interest in what was formerly called Citizens National Bank.
